The event brief was to get people dancing. Our corporate event client wanted to ‘spice up’ their normal end of year event where previously their staff had focussed on networking and talking. The Park venue (formerly The Powerhouse) on Albert Park Lake played host to 300 staff for an end of year cocktail party with a twist.

The theme was ‘Thriller’ and CIS Event Management carefully selected a 20 piece high energy, high impact dance troupe choreographed by Jason Law. When we think of dancing – we think Michael Jackson! The entertainment was awe inspiring and their choreographed Michael Jackson medley routine filled the dancefloor in no time. Guests danced the night away and the event set the benchmark for future Christmas events to come.

It is so important to identify your event aims from the get go and this event is a great example of a brief being fulfilled and exceeded. The most important part of the event brief for this particular client was to get their guests on to the dancefloor. As it turns out, it was harder to get them off the dancefloor! A very memorable corporate event for everyone involved.
